OUR STORY

Pumapapel Pop-Up Design Studio is more than just a creative paper design company; we’re a studio that transforms ordinary paper into extraordinary experiences. From captivating pop-up cards and pop-up books to interactive paper novelties, our designs are made with excellence and invoke a sense of childlike wonder.

As pioneers in the Philippine paper engineering scene, we’ve been pushing the boundaries of papercraft, collaborating with talented Filipino artists to bring their visions to life. Our commitment to quality and innovation has earned us recognition both locally and internationally. We also conduct workshops to share the art of paper engineering to students, teachers, designers, and crafting enthusiasts.

It is our mission to uplift and collaborate with Filipino artists, educate Filipinos about this unique art form, and establish the Philippines as a player in the global paper engineering industry.

A Woman Paper Engineer and Her Community

At the head and heart of Pumapapel is Amy Lopez Nayve, an artist and entrepreneur. As the first Filipino paper engineer to gain international recognition for her work, Amy is on a mission to uplift Filipino artistry to the global stage. Through collaboration and mentorship, she empowers underserved Filipino artists and designers, showcasing their work on Pumapapel’s innovative paper products.

Amy’s vision extends beyond individual success. She’s dedicated to fostering a thriving community of talented Filipino artists, providing a platform for them to elevate their creativity. By featuring their artwork in Pumapapel products and events, she ensures that these talented individuals receive the recognition and compensation they deserve.
